Corporate Candy Gifts in Singapore: What It Costs and How Long It Takes

Six articles on this site used to say roughly the same thing about corporate gifting. This is the one that replaces them — what custom candy actually costs, how long it really takes, and when it is the wrong choice.

Why candy lands where a hamper doesn’t

Most corporate gifts are forgettable by design. A power bank goes in a drawer. A hamper gets split up in the pantry by Thursday. Neither carries your name past the week it arrived.

Custom rock candy has one property no other gift in this price bracket has: your logo or message is inside every single piece, running through the sweet like lettering through a stick of seaside rock. Cut it anywhere and the design is still there. It is not a printed wrapper that gets thrown away — it is the product itself.

That makes it work hardest in the moments when you want to be remembered by a lot of people at once, cheaply, without it feeling cheap.

What you can actually customise

  • Text — a company name, a message, two names, or initials. Up to six letters reads clearly across the face of a standard piece; longer wording curves around the edge.
  • Your logo — hand-formed in the candy rather than printed. Simple, bold shapes reproduce well; fine detail, gradients and small type usually have to be simplified.
  • Colours — up to three brand colours in the casing, plus the white background, which is not counted. A fourth colour is possible at extra cost.
  • Flavour — one flavour per batch.
  • Packaging — jars, bags, or loose in bulk, with optional custom labels.

One thing worth setting expectations on early: every piece is hand-pulled and hand-cut, so colours and lettering vary slightly from sweet to sweet. That variation is the point — it is what tells the recipient a person made this rather than a machine. If you need exact colour matching to a Pantone reference, candy is the wrong medium and we would rather say so before you order.

What it costs

Most suppliers make you ask. Here are the actual numbers, so you can budget before you talk to anyone.

Order weightPrice per kg
4kg to under 6kgS$60
6kg to under 8kgS$55
8kg to under 10kgS$50
10kg and aboveS$46

The minimum order is 4kg, which works out at S$240 for the candy itself. Packaging is optional and charged per unit — from S$0.50 for a resealable bag up to S$2.00 for a 240g round jar — and that price includes hand-filling and sealing every one. Custom labels are S$0.45 each. Delivery to a single location is S$30.

There is no GST on our candy, so the price you see is the price you pay.

As a worked example: 4kg of custom candy packed into roughly 58 × 70g resealable bags comes to about S$273 all in — around S$4.70 a head for a 58-person gift run. You can price your own combination on the Design Your Candy page, which shows a live estimate as you build it.

How long it takes — and the part people get wrong

Standard lead time is two to three weeks. The important detail is where that clock starts: not when you enquire, but when payment is settled and you have approved your digital mock-up.

The other constraint that catches people out is that we only make candy Monday to Wednesday, and by mid-afternoon on a making day the last pots are already going. So an order confirmed on a Thursday will not be made until the following Monday, however many days the calendar says you have. Orders needed within a week carry a S$100 express charge, and how much we can take on also depends on how full those making days already are.

For a year-end gifting run, that means getting your artwork confirmed in early November rather than early December.

Halal-friendly, which matters more than most vendors admit

In a Singapore office, a gift that part of your team cannot eat is not an inclusive gift. Sticky’s custom candy can be produced with halal-friendly ingredients, which means one order that works for the whole room rather than a separate “alternative” for some colleagues.

We are careful with this language: contact us to confirm halal suitability for your specific order rather than assuming it. Our guide to halal-friendly candy in Singapore covers what to check with any confectionery supplier, not just us.

Where it works best

  • Client appreciation — a jar with your logo sits on a desk far longer than a card does.
  • Dinner and dance, town halls, anniversaries — one design, hundreds of pieces, everyone gets the same thing.
  • Onboarding and welcome packs — a small jar with the company name is a cheap, memorable first impression.
  • Trade shows and roadshows — candy gets picked up from a booth when a brochure does not, and it starts a conversation.
  • Festive gifting — Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and Teachers’ Day, where the volume is high and the budget per head is low.

When to choose something else

Candy is the wrong gift if you need fewer than 4kg, if you need an exact Pantone match, if your logo depends on fine detail or small type, or if you need it in under a week and the making days have already gone. We would rather tell you that up front than take an order we cannot do justice to.

How to start

The fastest route is to build what you have in mind on the Design Your Candy page — pick your text, colours, flavour and packaging, and it gives you a live mock-up and an estimate in a couple of minutes. Send it through and we will come back with a quote and confirm whether your date is workable.

If you would rather talk it through first, the corporate candy page has the overview, and full rates are on pricing and packaging.
