How is the candy made?
Everything is handmade — the lettering and the design are formed by hand, and the design runs all the way through the candy (like a traditional stick of rock). One face shows your design; the reverse is its mirror image. Because each piece is hand-cut, sizes vary slightly from piece to piece — that's the artisanal nature of it.
Can you match a specific colour (Pantone / CMYK)?
No — every colour is hand-mixed by our candymakers, so we can't match Pantone or CMYK codes exactly. If you have a specific shade in mind, send us a clear photo or image of the colour and we'll get as close as we possibly can. We'll always do our best, but we can't guarantee an exact match.
How many jars or bags will 4kg make?
Simple maths: 4kg = 4,000g. Divide that by your pack size to get the number of jars or bags. For example:
- 30g jars → 4000 ÷ 30 = ~133 jars
- 45g jars → 4000 ÷ 45 = ~88 jars
- 70g jars → 4000 ÷ 70 = ~57 jars
Can I order more than one design?
Yes! Each design is made as its own separate batch, with its own 4kg minimum — as long as each design stays within about 8 letters, it's no problem. Korean, Chinese and other non-Latin scripts run to 3 characters per design with a 6kg minimum, because each character is a whole block formed by hand rather than a letter. So an 8kg order split into two designs is really two 4kg batches, and each is priced at the 4kg rate of $60/kg. (The lower per-kg rates for larger orders apply within a single design, not across different designs.) Just tell us your designs when you enquire and we'll quote each batch.
How fresh is it, and how do I store it?
We make candy only 3 times a week, so we'll schedule your batch as close to your event date as possible for peak freshness — which is why it pays to book early and secure your slot. The best-before date is 1 year; sugar doesn't actually go bad, though over time it may lose a little of its crunch and sheen as it slowly recrystallises.
Always keep your candy in an airtight container — moisture is its worst enemy, so any exposure to air will turn it sticky (yes, it really will!). Please do not refrigerate it — condensation when it comes out of the fridge will turn it into a sticky mess. Just keep it sealed at room temperature.

What's in the candy? Is it vegan / halal-friendly?
All our ingredients are certified, we use no alcohol, and nothing comes from animal by-products — so our candy is effectively vegan too. Every piece is cut by hand, so there will be some natural variation in the size of each piece.
Can I order less than 4kg?
No — 4kg is our strict minimum for custom candy, with no smaller option. It's the smallest batch that lets us make your design by hand to our quality standard.
Can I get a sample first?
We're unable to make physical samples — our smallest batch is 4kg and the whole batch is made together in one go, so there's no way to make just a few pieces. What we do instead is send you a digital mock-up of your design to approve before we make anything, so you can check your wording, layout and colours. It's a guide rather than a photo — the candy is handmade and every letter is formed by hand, not printed — but nothing goes into production until you're happy with it.
Will I see the design before it's made?

How long does it take, and can you rush an order?
Standard lead time is 2-3 weeks, counted from the moment payment is settled and you've approved your digital mock-up — not from when you first enquire. We can often take on rush jobs: orders needed within 1 week carry an express charge of S$100.
One thing that catches people out: we only make candy Monday to Wednesday, and by around 3pm on a candy making day we're already on the last pot or two. So an order confirmed on a Thursday won't be made until the following Monday, and one confirmed late on a Wednesday has effectively missed that week. Confirming early in the week is usually the difference between hitting your date and not. Pick your date above and the estimate works the rest out for you.
